AND IT'S ALL...
My mom used to ask me how come I couldn't remember things for tests in school, but I could remember entire rap songs. Word for word. This was one of the first rhymes I knew front to back. Sideways and upside down. The Notorious B.I.G to this day is to me, the best rapper that ever lived.
"Supa Nintendo, Sega Genesis, was I was mad broke man I couldn't picture this"
Make sure you keep count of all your blessings everyday.

AND IT'S ALL...
Alex Pardee's show.
Da man is DOPE.
My favorite men's shirt at Omoi right now is the Alex Pardee "Its business time" skull face with the multi color scribble fill in. Fire. A Pardee walrus face. Creepy but incredible.
We ran out of smalls, but I think I might buy it anyway in a medium. Baggy shirts seem to be coming in ladies so don't hesitate to but something a bit big and alter it to your style. Especially, if the graphic is on some dope tip.

A quick copy paste from my email. This is pretty interesting. Check it.
Swindle & Zune Arts present "The Lost Ones"
East Coast Tour
30 Days of Night’s author, Steve Niles, collaborates with illustrators Dr. Revolt, Morning Breath, Kime Buzzelli and Gary Panter to bring you a graphic novel that will challenge what you think about time and space travel.
Duncan, Roxy, Cynthia and Rasheed just want to have a little intergalactic fun. But what starts out as a harmless day of extreme planet jumping turns into a mind-blowing, white-knuckle race for their lives to get back home. Only problem is, home is no longer where they left it. And the alien race, hell-bent on destroying them, isn’t getting any friendlier.

We love Bob and Barbara's. I haven't been down in a minute but every time we go back we get spoiled. I won at Bingo! I never win. Unfortunately, I didn't win any raunchy porn or Bob Dix prints. I was really feelin the furry handcuffs, but my girl Amanda got those. Instead I won the mystery prize. The mystery was an Official PB&J sandwich, most likely made by Bingo Bob himself, a Powerpuff girls beanie, and a Special. Hey, I'm not complainin'. Our table won a total of three times which is pretty damn amazing. I think it was the bobble head frog Lucky gave us to sit on our table. There is no place like Bob and Barbara's in the city of Philadelphia. I mean, where can you play dirty Bingo, watch Butchie smack his ass as he dances to the 'Gravel Pit', get free tees, talk sports, learn some Spanish, and drink for CHEAP? There is always a dope collection of DVD's Lucky keeps stashed away. This week he let me borrow 'Bomb It' a documentary of sorts of graffiti around the world. OK so I just popped it in and it won't play. You can't win em all. Ah Philadelphia how I love you.
Notice the PB&J is missing.
Joe rockin the beanie. He totally stretched my shit out.
Amanda drew a tattoo on me during the bingo break. It was a pretty rose.

There is no need to bask in the pleasures of others failures. However, my feelings towards celebrity designers aren't favorable, for the most part. We all know how much I love Gwen Stefani, but she stands in a class all her own. Anyway!
check this article if your feelings are like mine towards bullshit designers. Affirmations!

So, apparently my new thing is to get drunk and go running. If you happen to notice that I am missing from the bar or your rooftop for over twenty minutes without saying bye, chances are I'm sprinting around somewhere. Don't worry. I come back. Honestly, I feel like it gets the alcohol out of my system faster. I have too much energy and sometimes it's gotta come out ya know?
New Rifette, Miss Grace. My fingers are over my mouth so I could try to put a serious face on, whenever I am around her I just laugh. Oh snap, I should mention that me and homegirl will have Sundays at the shop so come through. 1608 Pine, duh. Not this Sunday though, I'll be in NY for the Summer Stage show, with this chick
Gilly gill gill. pronounce those g's softly will ya? like Jill.
On a side note. My neighborhood can get kinda shotty at night. No pun intended. But, when I was running last night and an undercover rolled up and asked if everything was ok. Now, I don't like cops, but it is nice to know they are patrolling the area even if you don't see them, I guess.

I've talked about Rojas a bunch on Rife. We love it at OMOI. It sells amazing and OMOI is one of the only stores on the East Coast to stock Rojas. Total lifestyle steez. I rock it all the time. Styles for miles. You can't knock this label outta Cali right now. HOT HOT HOT. check it! Freddie and Alejandra talking about the design process and brand identity. By the way, on an inside note, Alejandra is not only the designer for womenswear, the girl does trade shows. She will try on her designs to sell them as you pick it off the racks in the middle of the floor! How many companies can you say do that? She is sweetheart to work with, and definetly a label we are hype on. Come down and try stuff on with us.
ROJAS ON KARMALOOP! GET FRESH!
We HAD it for cheap. If you missed tent sale this weekend, all full price apparel was marked down 40%. Back to business on Tuesday! Full price. Yo, not trying to hate. If anyone knows me, I don't hate on ANYONE unless you are, well, flaky. This chick came into the shop thinking we had TENTS on sale in the back, TENTS! Then she wanted to know why a certain band we had playing wasn't currently touring, I tried to explain that the band is in the studio working on tracks, but she didn't get it. She was blonde. For real. Just sayin'.

Won't you join me for a ride?
Keep your eyes ahead. Dont worry baby, you wont feel a thing.
Note: So if you checked the video I had up earlier, it was terrible. I dont know what I was thinking. sorry. I was listening to a song and I definetly got distracted. This one is way better. Caleb has short hair. YES. This video is for my lovelies back home who rock with the kings. Especially my girl, Miss Ann, who introduced me to the Kings a couple years back. Love you mama. Also. To my nerdy die hard kings fans. You girls know who you are. Can you catch the references above and beneath the video? word...Caleb is the man. sigh* Well, been thinkin bout my ladies. Have fun. XO

The complete fuckin package.
PEEP THE STEP BROTHERS TRAILER
I can't talk about movies and not mention that the new Batman flick is coming out the friday before Step Brothers, July 18th. Cristian Bale arouses erotic desire. Is that too much? Just being honest. We also have to mention the late, Heath Ledger. Amazing actors in this movie and all of the Batman movies must be viewed in the theater for the ultimate effect. The bigger the better!

Gonzo: The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson Trailer
Fueled by a raging libido, Wild Turkey, and superhuman doses of drugs, Thompson was a true "free lance," goring sacred cows with impunity, hilarity and a steel-eyed conviction for righting wrongs. Focusing on the good doctor's heyday, 1965 to 1975 , the film includes clips of never-beforeseen (nor heard) home movies, audiotapes and passages from unpublished manuscripts. A film by Alex Gibney and narrated by Johnny Depp. Sexy.
Playing now at the Ritz at the Bourse. 215-925-7900

Home away from home. This Monday is DSB, or Drunken Spelling Bee. It's a fun time, actually it gets pretty packed now, people get really rowdy and kinda obnoxious. Then they try spellin shit and you want to punch them. I mean, if your into that sort of thing. I know I end up there often, mostly cuz Scotty is the man. First and third Mondays, monthly.
New book from the mind of Jeremy Fish featuring a foreword composed by hip hop artist, Aesop Rock. It retails for fifty bucks and it's available online at upperplaygroundstore.com, upper playground retail spots, and I flipped through it at the Joshua Liner gallery in New York, so it's there too. It features a cast of characters in paintings, drawings, and photos. Needed in your collection. Does your apartment smell of rich mahogany?
