Lets Go RED SOX

Now you can exhale. Oi, was this last game close! I had text messages flyin over my way from my peoples in Massachusetts at the start of the game and right at the end. Ah, the powers of technology and the intensity of Sox fans, we tight! I'm sure a lot of my buddies are going to work with bloodshot eyes tomorrow morning and taking naps in thier cars in the afternoon. Mmmm Hmmm. Luckily, one of my girls from Boston is crashing on my couch so I had some more enthusiasm up in this place. Great plays on both sides but the boys from Boston pulled through. The ALCS starts on Friday night where the Sox will have a meeting with the Tampa Bay Rays. Woot woot.
Ok, Ok. The Phillies too, I show you love too, in my own way. Been to your stadium. Enjoyed it. Will watch your game on Thursday night and root for you. Even though you are playing the Dodgers and Derek Lowe is pitching. Lowe pitched for the Red Sox in their champion season against the Yankees and I was sad to see him go AND my dear dear Manny, my favorite baseball player, is now playing for the Dodgers as well. Should be a great game and I'm excited for that as well. Citizen's Bank Park! Let's go Philly!

Wicked Rad
Upperplayground Ignite What's Next Boston Edition
So Sam Flores, N8 Van Dyke, and Alex Pardee were in Boss-town last weekend painting at Underground Snowboards. I stopped down there for awhile. A great time with a good turn out. I took a lot of photos that still need to be developed. The mural they did was of a girl having a bad dream. It was beautiful and they were incredibly nice to everyone that wanted black books drawn in. Check this video of the guys crusin around the Mass of two shits. One.

OK GO
Alex Pardee, Sam Flores, and N8 Van Dyke are painting together in Atlanta, Boston, and Phoenix in which will be sponsored by the Ignite What's Next Series sponsored by Juxtapoz Magazine and Sparks Energy Drink.
Say whaat?! If your in the Northeast area it would be worth your time to make it to Boston. Not only are there festivals all around the state and region but this in and of itself should have you high tailin it to Underground Snowboards on Commonwealth on September 20th. I guess this would be time to post info on all the Oktoberfests and beer releases in NE...

Celtics Win 17th NBA Chanmpionship Title
Congratulations boys!
They brought it last night! Sealed the title with a 131-92 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers. Even though there was a substantial lead throughout most of the game, it was still exciting as all hell. The plays were unbelievable. Intensity never slowed and the shots were on point. We watched it at Samuels Sports Bar in Springfield, Ma. The crowd was definetly in the building.

Paul Pierce, finals MVP, and Rajon Rondo

Shop Talk
2008!
Damn, already! I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season, rang in the new year with good people, and are now ready to gear up for the next one. So we haven't posted in awhile, obviously. I have been fallin' back in Massachusetts with the family, I haven't been sleeping though. In fact, we have some new projects that we have been working on that I am really excited about, but I will get into that later.
First off, let's get into the post objective, which is Shop Talk. Recently I was in Boston shopping and knew that I had to make some time to check out the Bodega shop. When you're walking up to Clearway Street don't expect to see a sign, or clean windows with merchandise visuals. Instead, the spot looks like your corner convenience store with random products like paper towels and canned foods on the shelves that line the windows. Inside the concept is dope. Say hello to the boys chillen in the front room. Make your way to the back corner up to the soda machine and boom the door almost magically slides open to a clean room with hot merchandise. It seems like you are entering a secret cave of sure fire style orchestrated by the underground. The store stocks a deep selection of limited edition sneakers, tees, jackets, hats, retro sunglasses, some jewelry, and of course the ever present mix tapes. They even had a Trilladelphia mix with Low B and Deluxxx in the case. Not much for the ladies as far as apparel goes, when is there? They had a nice selection of sneakers. The staff was real chill and very friendly. Make sure to stop by Bodega the next time you are in Boston.
Bodega is located at
