Japanese Girl Represents

This is Eri Yoshida. She's 16 and has just been drafted by an independent league's pro team, the Kobe 9 Cruise. Say What?! This girl plays tough! She says that she wants to follow in the footsteps of Boston Red Sox pitcher, Tim Wakefield. He's been with Boston since 1995, and helped them win the historic World Series in 2004. Good choice, Eri.
